INNER ARTIST:  MAKING ART WORK

How to Set the Halloween Mood in Your Home | Inner Artist

October 6, 2017

With fall already underway, so comes our favorite holiday season of the year. Halloween is just around the corner and it’s time to get prepared.

You can add festive touches to your home, that greet the season and get you out of summer mode.  Here are a few things you can do to start getting ready for the big 31.

Start with your front door! Source

Making a wreath to accessorize your front door is an easy start to setting up for Halloween.  Visitors will always see your it before anything else, so make a strong first impression.  Create your own with the kids and include googly eyes, ghosts, goblins, and more.  For a classier vibe, experiment with burlap cloth and deco mesh.

Use glass jars to fill with halloween candy or festive nuts. Source

Take advantage of all of the jars you have at home and turn them into Halloween decor. Fill them with candy corn, nuts, or those eyeball gummies everyone loves. Halloween is the best time of year to transform candy into decoration!

Add simple fall colors. Source

Use this opportunity to break out all of those orange and maple-colored pillows or blankets you’ve been storing all summer. The fall color scheme coincides with the Halloween spirit and can stay in place long after the holiday has passed! That’s a win-win.

Add spooky inspired art to your walls.

A print like this one can turn your normal living room into a haunted house. Soon, you’ll be able to create art like this on your own through Inner Artist!. No more digging through store-bought decorations, because you are the creator of your own holiday design this Halloween season.

And there’s nothin’ spooky about that.
