December is upon us and with that, a new mood. Preparing your home for the seasonal change can be tough work but we're going to make it easier for you. Winter doesn't have to be all dark reds and snowy whites, you can do a lot with colors you wouldn't normally associate with the coldest season of the year.
That's why our color scheme for this season is a mix of green, gold, white, and gray!
Use Nature First
When it's time to put up the tree you're officially decorating for winter. Adding a touch of nature can bring your room into a winter wonderland from the comfort of your home. Dark greens, light browns, and pine needles are key in this transformation.
Shiny, Shimmery, Sweet
Winter is known for being slow, relaxed, and toned down, but really it's the time to be shimmery and bright! Gold and glam is exactly what your home needs for the full winter look. Take this opportunity to break out the gold candle holders, metallic pieces, and tinsel all around.
And of Course, Some Art
Abstract and on color scheme, we created a few pieces to spark the inspiration in your hearts.
You Can Take it From Here
As always, we want to see what you create from our inspiration. Don't start breaking out every red ornament, blanket, and candle in the house. Instead, try to mix in some of the more subtle colors for a less overwhelming look but keep a full winter mood. Remember to think outside the box and rely on what you have already and more importantly, let your Inner Artist call the shots.
